Paul has over 30 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance and consulting. He is now Chief Actuary of Brookfield Wealth Solutions, overseeing risk and actuarial functions.

Paul joined Brookfield in 2015 to establish Blumont Annuity in Canada, formerly Brookfield Annuity, and served as its first President & CEO. Prior to joining Brookfield, Paul was a senior partner in a large global consulting firm with responsibility for their retirement consulting business in Canada.

Paul is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and a Master of Arts in Economics also from the University of Toronto.
